Turbocheck The ability to accept checks online offers a distinct edge over merchants who do not have this capability. It's important to note that far more people have checking accounts than have credit cards. Providing the same convenience of a complete online shopping experience...including online payment, to the vast number of consumers that do not own credit cards is just smart business! This is why our ecommerce Toolkit and Toolbag accounts are completely compatible with the Turbocheck online check payment system. To offer your customers the choice to pay by check online, simply adjust the setting for Payment Types You Accept. You will find this setting in the Configuration and Setup section of your eManager. (eShopping Cart Setup for Toolkit accounts, eOrder Form Setup for Toolbag accounts) Scroll down the page to Payment Types You Accept. To accept only credit card payments, you would enter CCARD into the field. (all capital letters) To accept both online checks and credit cards, enter the word BOTH into the field. (all capital letters) Save your changes at the bottom of the page. That's it! Now your order forms will offer the option to your customers to pay by check, and prompt them for the necessary information automatically! |
